At BotaCoffee, our mission is simple – to bring you truly fresh coffee.
We are a European coffee roastery that focuses on quality, freshness, and personal approach. If we’re known for one thing, it’s how fresh our coffee really is.
We offer a wide selection of specialty coffees as well as our own signature espresso blends. All specialty coffees are roasted only after you place your order, so you always get coffee at its best.
Right after roasting, we pack the coffee into special valve bags that let CO₂ escape while keeping oxygen out. That means the coffee stays fresh and full of flavor. Each bag is resealable, so your coffee stays protected even after opening.
How fresh is our coffee?
In most cases, we ship your order on the same day it’s roasted. So your coffee can arrive just a few days after roasting, depending on your location in the EU.
You can enjoy filter coffee immediately after roasting. For espresso, we usually recommend waiting around 2–7 days to let the CO₂ release – this helps with grind consistency and crema. However, even freshly roasted beans work well in automatic espresso machines.
Coffee flavor develops over time. Many coffees taste their best around day 14, but each origin is different. That’s part of the fun – noticing how your coffee changes as it ages.
After about 30 days, the flavor usually stabilizes and then slowly fades. If you drink your coffee within 2–3 months, it’s still fresh and enjoyable.
For the best experience, we recommend ordering enough coffee for about a month at a time.
