Colombia Excelso EP 2025

Grown in the high-altitude Andes of Colombia, this Excelso EP Arabica is a beautiful example of the country’s proud coffee tradition.

  • Excelso refers to the bean size (screen 15–16) – the second-largest grade in Colombia, prized for its full flavor and excellent roast performance.

  • EP (European Preparation) means each bean has been carefully hand-sorted to remove defects, ensuring a clean, consistent, and high-quality cup.

At elevations of 1,250–2,000 meters, coffee cherries mature more slowly, allowing flavors to develop with greater complexity and the beans to grow denser. Thanks to Colombia’s unique two-harvest cycle (main harvest and mitaca), fresh coffee is available year-round.

Colombia’s diverse geography includes three major Andean mountain ranges, offering ideal conditions for cultivating high-grade Arabica varieties such as Typica, Caturra, and Castillo. This combination of altitude, volcanic soil, and climate produces some of the world’s most celebrated coffees.
