Product detailed description
Introducing a gem from our Premium category – a coffee that carries a century-old story of family tradition and the incredible personal strength of producer Patricia Coelho. This coffee from the Fazenda Santo Antonio farm is the perfect choice for those seeking perfect harmony, high sweetness, and minimal acidity in their cup.
An inspiring story of female leadership
In the coffee world, Patricia Coelho is a symbol of a modern approach to tradition. In the Latin American agricultural environment, where leadership roles are still mostly held by men, Patricia proudly took charge of a family heritage that has lasted for over 100 years. As one of the few female farm owners in the region, she decided to leave the path of mass production and devote all her energy to growing specialty coffee of the highest quality, becoming an inspiration for other female producers across Brazil. Today, she runs the farm together with her son Pedro, a talented agronomist, and their shared vision pushes the boundaries of quality with every new harvest.
The Fazenda Santo Antonio farm is named after a chapel dedicated to the patron saint of marriage, which is located on the property. This detail is not just a religious symbol; it reflects deep family roots and respect for tradition.
World-class terroir
The farm is located in the EspĂrito Santo do Pinhal region at an altitude of up to 1,300 meters, which is very high for Brazil, ensuring the slow ripening of the coffee beans and a high concentration of sugars. The uniqueness of this place is also proven by the fact that the farm's immediate neighbor is the highly respected Brazilian winery Guaspari, which produces world-class wines here on the very same soil.
What to expect in the cup?
Thanks to the traditional natural processing and careful sun-drying, this coffee has an exceptionally clean, smooth, and balanced taste.
- Aroma: Sweet scent of ripe pears with a touch of spices and milk chocolate.
- Taste: Dominant notes of pear and cream, which smoothly transition into a deep taste of walnuts and milk chocolate.
- Character: The coffee is beautifully balanced with a full body, prominent sweetness, and very low bitterness and acidity.
Enjoy coffee from a woman whose determination and love for the craft are changing the way we look at Brazilian coffee production.
