India Plantation A 2024 sklizenDiscover a coffee rooted in centuries-old tradition. The story begins in 1670 with an Indian pilgrim named Baba Budan, who on his journey back from Mecca stopped in Yemen. From there, he secretly brought seven coffee seeds and planted them in the hills of Karnataka—laying the foundation for Indian coffee cultivation.

Today, India ranks among the world’s top coffee producers, with its main growing regions located in the southern states of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. This particular coffee comes from small-scale farmers, who account for around 80% of the country’s coffee production. Over the decades, many growers shifted from Arabica to more resilient Robusta and Liberica due to pests and diseases, but high-altitude Arabica is still cultivated with care and dedication.

Indian Arabica grows at elevations between 1,000 and 1,600 meters above sea level, often under the shade of native trees and alongside crops like cardamom and black pepper. These mixed-shade environments enrich the beans with subtle spice notes and a unique character.

In every cup of this Plantation A coffee, you’ll taste the tradition, dedication, and craftsmanship of small Indian coffee farmers. Experience the depth of flavor and support a legacy of quality and history.
