Grown in the rolling hills of Sul de Minas, near the town of Guaxupé, this coffee captures the very essence of Brazilian specialty coffee – smooth, sweet, and endlessly drinkable. The region is part of the Minas Gerais state and produces around 30% of all coffee in Brazil. Its mild climate, rich soil, and elevation between 600 and 1300 meters above sea level create the perfect conditions for a low-acidity, well-balanced cup.

🇧🇷 A taste of Brazilian coffee history

Brazil’s coffee story began in 1727, when Portuguese soldier Francisco de Mello Palheta smuggled the first coffee plants from French Guiana. Little did he know that Brazil would one day become the world’s largest coffee producer and define the flavor profile of modern espresso.

While Central American coffees often come from high-altitude farms, Brazilian coffees thrive at mid-altitudes, resulting in less acidity and a naturally sweet, creamy profile. These characteristics, along with excellent crema production, make Brazilian beans a staple in espresso blends – and equally suitable for other brew methods.
